My heart continues to go out to all of you, with also a saddened heart for the families of the officers who perished because of the beatings they endured.
This action taken and statement made by this person running for governor of TX is abominable!
I am pained by this information but grateful to know about. What I wonder is if this calculated decision by the Dem candidate is meant to give other ‘conservatives’ permission to vote for a Democrat. The idea of building a permission structure that makes voting against Republicans acceptable in the (twisted) minds of lifelong conservatives is one that fascinates me but about which I am not well informed. It seems the psychologists and sociologists who work in this area of politics are using the same tactics as were used by Kamala Harris when she campaigned with Liz Cheney… that didn’t work out.
I agree with you, Mr. Dunn, and consider you & the other brave officers who defended the Capitol on that terrible day to be our true heroic patriots. Despite this disappointing choice by Ms. Hinojosa, I hope she wins because Gov. Abbott is evil and a dRumpf tool who needs to go.
God bless you Harry, and I love you for speaking up about the Trump and MAGA crime that was the assault on our Capitol. You fellows made me so proud, but what you endured was absolutely unforgivable. Never Forget.
I agree Harry, yet if the women was truly repentant for her actions and said so then it is a different story in my opinion. I imagine it would be incredibly difficult to hear her say it or even believe it. But truth and reconciliation seems to be the only way out of this division. If she isn't willing, then that's a way different ball game.

Bad move on Gina’s part. Let’s hope it’s the last bad move on her part. I believe she owes you and the rest of the Capitol police an apology.
Attending a rally is one thing….I may think it was stupid to show support for tRump but it is America.
Rioting and attacking our Capitol, as many (not all) of the tRump directed felons did——is totally another thing.
Wish those who did what their orange makeup wearing leader asked them to do were all still in lockup.
