We have to stand up to the lies, the hate, and the bigotry that brought us to January 6th.

I was there on January 6th.

I was at the Capitol — surrounded by sweat, screams, blood, and chaos — doing my job. Protecting the men and women sent to Washington to govern our nation. It didn’t matter if they were Republican, Democrat, or Independent. My duty was to protect them. My duty was to protect our democracy.
